Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to coaching, Grief Recovery, nervous system education and support, private sessions, packages, groups, classes, and related services provided by Danielle Crowell (“Coach”), owner of Danielle Crowell Coaching LLC.

1. Nature of Services

Danielle Crowell provides coaching, grief education, and related educational and supportive services intended to support personal growth, emotional wellness, self-awareness, emotional processing, and practical change.

Depending on the service, support may include coaching, the Grief Recovery Method®, Clinical EFT, mindfulness and breathing practices, nervous system education and regulation, somatic-based exercises, reflection, and accountability.

These services are educational and coaching-based. They are not psychotherapy, counseling, psychiatric care, medical treatment, crisis intervention, emergency services, or trauma therapy. Coach does not diagnose, treat, or cure mental health or medical conditions and is not acting as a licensed healthcare provider.

2. Appropriate Fit

Services are provided only when Coach determines that they are appropriate for the client's current needs and circumstances.

New clients may be required to complete a screening form before services begin. Coach may determine that services are not appropriate when a client's needs require clinical, medical, crisis, trauma, substance-use, or other specialized care outside the scope of Coach's services, or when Coach determines that services cannot be provided safely and appropriately.

Coach may decline, pause, discontinue, or refer a client to another provider or resource when appropriate.

Participation in coaching or grief work does not guarantee any particular outcome or result.

3. Starter Sessions and Initial Review

A Starter Session is an initial service intended to understand what support a client is seeking, determine whether Coach's services are an appropriate fit, and identify the appropriate next step.

Payment and booking of a Starter Session do not guarantee that the session will proceed. Required intake information must be completed and may be reviewed before the appointment.

If Coach determines that services are not an appropriate fit, the appointment may be cancelled and the Starter Session payment refunded. When appropriate and possible, Coach may provide referral information or suggest other resources.

4. Booking and Payment

Appointments, packages, groups, and classes must be booked and paid for according to the payment terms displayed at the time of purchase.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact and payment information and for completing any required forms or agreements.

Where a package or payment plan is offered, the applicable payment terms will be provided separately and may be governed by the Coaching Agreement or a separate payment agreement.

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling and No-Shows

Private sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, missed appointments, and no-shows are charged the applicable session fee and are non-refundable, except when Coach determines that an exception is appropriate.

Group and class cancellation and refund policies may vary and will be provided with the applicable offering.

Coach may cancel or reschedule an appointment when necessary. If Coach cancels an appointment and cannot provide a suitable alternative, the applicable payment will be refunded.

6. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased and the circumstances of the cancellation.

A Starter Session may be refunded when Coach determines, after reviewing the required intake information, that the service is not an appropriate fit.

Packages are subject to the refund terms provided at the time of purchase and in the applicable Coaching Agreement.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

7. Communication

Between-session communication is limited to scheduling, administrative matters, and brief coaching-related communication.

Coach is available by text or email Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time, with response times of up to 48–96 business hours.

Coaching services do not include crisis support, emergency mental health care, or on-demand emotional support.

If you are experiencing a mental health or medical emergency, are at immediate risk of harm, or require urgent care, contact emergency services or an appropriate licensed professional or crisis resource rather than contacting Coach for emergency assistance.

8. Confidentiality and Privacy

Information shared during private sessions is treated as confidential except where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Clients understand that electronic communication, including email, text messaging, online scheduling systems, and video platforms, carries inherent privacy and security risks.

For groups and classes, Coach will ask participants to respect the privacy of other participants. However, Coach cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality.

9. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information relevant to their participation in services and for communicating changes that may affect their ability to participate safely and appropriately.

Clients are responsible for seeking appropriate medical, mental health, or other professional care when needed.

Clients understand that coaching and related practices may involve emotional discomfort or activation. Clients may decline or discontinue an exercise or practice at any time and should communicate concerns to Coach.

10. Participation and Results

Coaching is a collaborative process. Results depend on many factors, including participation, honesty, consistency, circumstances, and actions taken by the client.

Coach does not guarantee specific outcomes, improvements, or results.

11. Groups and Classes

Participants in groups and classes agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of the Coach and other participants.

Group and class experiences are educational and are not a substitute for support groups, individual psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical treatment, crisis intervention, or other clinical services.

Coach reserves the right to remove a participant from a group or class when continued participation is inappropriate or disruptive. Any applicable refund will be determined according to the terms of the specific offering.

12. Termination or Referral

Coach may pause or terminate services when a client's needs fall outside the scope of coaching, when continued services are no longer appropriate, when required payments are not maintained, or when participation is inconsistent with the applicable policies or agreements. When appropriate, Coach may recommend that a client seek support from another qualified professional or service.

Termination of services does not eliminate responsibility for outstanding payment obligations.

13. Separate Coaching Agreement

If you are approved to participate in private coaching services, you will be required to review and electronically sign the Coaching Agreement before any coaching session takes place. The Coaching Agreement contains additional terms governing the coaching relationship, including scope of services, scheduling, payment, communication, confidentiality, client responsibilities, and termination.

A signed Coaching Agreement must remain in effect for the duration of private coaching services. No private coaching session will take place unless the required Coaching Agreement has been signed.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

15. Agreement to Terms

By booking or participating in a service, clients acknowledge that they have had an opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with the policies applicable to the service they have purchased.
