GROUP EVENT: CLASS
Helping Children With Loss
What to Expect
A practical, educational program for adults who want to feel more capable and confident in supporting children or teens through grief and loss.
THE DETAILS-
Understand how children grieve
Children and teens often express grief differently than adults expect. We’ll examine how age, development, personality, and the nature of the loss influence their grieving process.
Learn what actually helps
Explore how adults can support children as they express, understand, and process their experiences, without minimizing, fixing, distracting, or rushing them.
Have better conversations
Learn how to discuss difficult losses, respond to challenging questions, and support emotions without needing to provide perfect answers.
Support the whole child
Grief can impact behavior, relationships, school, sleep, and daily life. We’ll consider the broader context so you can respond with greater understanding and less judgment.

Meet Dani
I’ve experienced significant loss myself both as a child and as an adult, and I know how much can remain unresolved long after something ends. My work draws on 15 years of experience in somatic approaches, emotional regulation, grief recovery, and behavior change.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me gardening, listening to music, or reading sci-fi. I’m a curious person by nature, and though I take the work seriously, I don’t take myself too seriously.
